Meditative Tranquility and Defensive Fury are a pair of small oil studies that balance two states of mind, allegorically manifested as two colorful angels that convey through an iconographic language multidimensional energies that anchor us, provide support, and remind us of our multipotential nature. The pair manifests the balance between meditative calm, which promotes a circular energy of healing, tranquility, and fullness (represented by the color blue and the symbolism of the circle and dots), and defensive fury, which promotes a more active, bold, impetuous, and heroic state of consciousness (represented by the scarlet color and fire symbolism). The balance between being fully anchored in the present, content and whole, while the other state of consciousness advances, exploring territories yet uncharted, overcoming new challenges, dismantling old paradigms, while safeguarding what has already been achieved.
